Another backstreet boys' new single.

Oh while surfing the net, i found another backstreet boys' new single. I think 2 is the exact number till now.
I like this song better, especially i like the lyrics. So "backstreet boys", they're still talented in writing. Their music is a new step by their ages, but it still touches their fans, old and new.
And by the way, this is such an exciting move, cause we've been waiting a long time for their new album, so it comes out with 2 singles, I can't wait for the whole new album.

Hey, everyone, this is the Backstreet Boys' new single "Happily Never After",check it out!
I think it's kinda good, but the lyrics is so sad, and the title is kinda disappointing, not my kind, who only likes happy ending lol.
But anyway, listen to what the boys can do without Kevin. I heard in a forum they said Kevin might be back after he's settled with his family, and all other items. I really hope that is true, I'm waiting for him, and for the backstreet boys' reuniting. That will be a another great day of bsb and their fans!

Trivia Fact:

The name Backstreet Boys comes from the Backstreet Flea Market in Orlando, Florida.

Backstreet Boys Formation:

In the summer of 1992 producer Lou Pearlman advertised in an Orlando, Florida newspaper for male singers for a New Kids On the Block style group. A.J. McLean and Tony Donetti (aka Howie Dorough) were the first to successfully audition. Nick Carter was hired at the young age of 12, and the final pieces were Kevin Richardson and his cousin Brian Littrell who joined in 1993 replacing two other young men who were initially hired.

Early Years:

The Backstreet Boys' first major concert was performed at Orlando's Sea World in May 1993 before a crowd of very receptive teenagers. By the fall the group began touring around the country and caught the attention of Zomba record executives in Cleveland, Ohio. Signed to a recording contract with Zomba subsidiary Jive Records, the group released their first single "We've Got It Going On" in the summer of 1995 to disappointing sales.

European Success:

Although their first single flopped in the U.S., the Backstreet Boys gained their first taste of true success when "We've Got It Going On" reached the top 10 in Germany in the fall of 1995. The group's management decided to focus on the European and Asian market instead of the U.S. When the first album Backstreet Boys was released in the fall of 1996 it reached the top 10 in over a dozen countries.

Worldwide Stardom:

The Backstreet Boys decided to concentrate on American success in 1997. "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)" began climbing the charts and reached #2 in the summer. The group were on their way to U.S. stardom. The first album was finally released in the U.S. in August with the new single "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" added. The new single was a massive hit around the world.

The Backstreet Boys spent most of 1998 touring and settling widely publicized legal disputes with their managers. Finally, in May 1999, the next album Millenium is released setting a new record for the most copies sold in one week - 1.1 million. "I Want It That Way" and "Larger Than Life" were massive radio hits from the album.

The next album, Black and Blue, released in the fall of 2000, sold 1.6 million copies in the first week but failed to break the new first week record set by fellow boy band *NSYNC. The Backstreet Boys set off on a world tour for 2001, but dates were postponed due to member A.J. McLean battling alcohol and depression issues. Terrorist attacks in the U.S. in September, 2001 caused the group to cancel overseas tour plans. A greatest hits release in October caused widespread speculation about the future of the group.

In the years following release of Black and Blue the group retreated from the spotlight to work on individual issues and projects. Many in the pop music world were surprised when the Backstreet Boys announced in early 2005 that new music was at last on its way. The first single "Incomplete" generated strong interest at radio and the new album Never Gone was released in June. The disc was certified platinum but proved to be far less successful than the band's past releases.

Will Kevin be back?

Today i watched a backstreet boys video when Kevin was still in the band, i feel so sad and pity to think that he's not in the band anymore. I can't help thinking bsb will never be the same although i used to think they would be fine, but really bsb will never be the same when one member leaves, they were so close and related to each other. Why did he ever leave, i really hope he will be back, as deep inside me i really want him to be back. I think it nomatter time cuz i will be a fan of them forever.

The Backstreet Boys are bidding farewell to the oldest member of their band, according to a statement by Kevin Richardson posted on the group's Web site.

"After 13 years of what can only be described as a dream come true, I have decided that it is time to leave the Backstreet Boys. It was a very tough decision for me but one that was necessary in order to move on with the next chapter of my life," said Richardson, 34, adding that he's leaving to pursue other interests.

He went on to say: "I would like to thank the Backstreet fans for all the beautiful memories we have shared together and look forward to including you in the next phase of my life. I wish my brothers continued success and look forward to their new album."

The remaining members – A.J. McLean, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, and Brian Littrell – said they had no plans to replace Richardson. "The door will always be open for him to return to the Backstreet Boys. We wish him the all the best in his future endeavors," they said on the band's Web site.

The clean-cut boys' band ushered in a new teen-music craze in the late 90's, buoyed by their soulful harmonies, synchronized dance steps and youthful good looks and charm. Their three albums sold a total of more than 35 million copies.

The group took a hiatus in 2001 after McLean's highly publicized entry into rehab forced the band to postpone their "Black & Blue" tour. They reunited to release the album Never Gone in 2005.

The group plans to return to the studio this weekend to begin work on their next album, which is due later this year, reports the Associated Press.

Backstreet's Back.

The Backstreet Boys been on stage since 1989 ( i heard so, im not sure, i have to google about it). They have been singing and spending happy and crying moments with each other and their fans for quite a long time. No doubts they are the longest lasted boy band (and the most rulin one for me and thier fans). After a time like that, they had some trouble with a member was a serious alcoholic (AJ - Alexandre James McLean), that was a hard time. But now they are back, and i'm really glad they did, i'm glad they made it. They are truly a band that is all for their fans, and i will love them forever.
By the way, although kevin is leaving the band, they still leave a place for him and he will be welcome anytime.
